Out Of Hibernation!

Hey all, I think I've been hibernating or something.... I can't even say I've been all that busy. Just distracted I guess. It's the last week of school and we are so excited! The kids keep telling me cranky things like they have to have finals on thurs. or they can't have a field day because there is "No Educational Value" in that! Give me a break! How about social skills and FUN! everything has to have such a purpose! Grrrrrrrr....
Shade did get to go to Zion today for a end of the year field trip, he was excited! And Poor Shalae came home today for lunch literally green, They had disected baby pigs. Apparently they had been vacuum sealed in bags and stored at room temp all year. She said the smell was unreal!!! Gross!
Leeda and I are hangin' out alternating between bawling, watching baby story's and births on Discovery Health and figuring out how we can "Design on a Dime" on HGTV. ;0)
What I'm really doing is recovering from surgery, I had a full hysterectomy cut hip to hip the end of last month so that's why I'm being lazy. I feel pretty good and am getting my strength back more every day.
We are looking forward to seeing the Hurleys soon for Bo's Graduation! Yippi! a road trip! We'll probably have to drop in and see Mickey and Minny too. Another Yippi! Now if we can figure out how to do Disneyland on a Dime! LOL
(we'll let you know if we come up with any good ideas)
Have a good summer and be safe!

Happy New Year!

Happy New Year!!!
Lets see, It's already the 15th of Jan and I have fudged on 1/2 of my new years resolutions! LOL, The good part is I have a whole year to start over....Right!
It's starting to warm up now and I love it! It's so nice to live in this area! We don't have to invest in coats and snow boots etc. (except when we visit Grandpa and Grandma! )

Everyone Is doing great! Ty's got a heavy class load this quarter and is trying to get finished up. She has one more quarter and she will graduate, She's double majoring in Early childhood development and Sign language. Good job Ty! We are so proud of you!
Shalae's busy trying to find a job. She's at that age where money is a real handy thing to have....LOL. Especially when Mom never seems to have any! She's doing great in school and hopefully is on track to pursue her dream of becoming a nurse.
Shade our little social butterfly! He's so busy playing that we have to hold him down to eat! It's a good thing he has good friends and there Moms don't mind feeding him too! LOL He's also doing great in school and loves scouts. He'll be a Weblo soon and can't wait!
What a blessing kids are! We are so lucky! You guys are the best! I can say that cuz I'm your MOM! Love you!
